Makati Commemorate Ninoy’s 26th Death Anniversary

August 21 is one of the special non working holiday which is yearly followed by the Filipino people. This is the day that our very own Benigno Aquino Jr. died when he was assassinated upon his arrival at the Manila International Airport now called as NINOY AQUINO INTERNATION AIRPORT (NAIA) after returning to the Philippines from his self-imposed exile in the United States on August 21, 1983

Makati commemorates the 26^th death anniversary of Ninoy by having a short program which will be attended by Ninoy’s family. Before this day, flowers offering in front of the statue of Ninoy along Paseo de Roxas were also prepared. From the morning of August 21, Friday, you will observe that the road from Ayala Avenue and Paseo De Roxas were closed for the program preparation.
