My LRT Experiece Ever!

To avoid traffic and hassle everytime i travel going to my work at Makati from my house at Morong,Rizal, I choose to live temporary at my grandfather's house located at Quiapo Manila. From my work i have to take bus going to LRT Leveriza and take LRT going to Carriedo Station to reach my grandfather's house.

Last August 4, 2008 (Monday),because i wrote this blog 1 day after, when i was on my way going to Carriedo Station, I heard the announcement at LRT train but i ignore it. Every station he always give his reminder but my mind doesn't focus with it plus the noise of passengers. When we arrive at United Nations Station, 2 stations more before i reach Carriedo, i listen to what the announcer talking about. He said that"Paalala po sa mga pasahero, ugaliin po nating kumapit sa mga safety handrills at iwasang sandalan ang mga pintuan,Next station Central Terminal.", after he announced it he paused for a while and continue."Hindi po kame magbababa sa Carriedo Station,maaari lamang pong bumaba sa pinakamalapit na istasyon o sa Central Terminal." After i heared the announcement, i wonder why, but still i follow what was his instruction. When i was in Central Terminal, i asked the guard where can i take jeepney going to Quiapo and he gave me right direction. I also asked him what had happened why was the train did not open its door at Carriedo Station,he told me that there was an accident happened at Carriedo, there was a fire!.

The next morning, when i was going to my work, i tried to go to Carriedo Station if it is available, and fortunately, it is! Now i know the reasons, the Good Earth Plaza located at Carriedo was hit by the fire and about a million cost of property damaged.

The Most Chosen Song

It was still fresh in our memories of what had happened to the World Trade Center when it was attacked by terrorist on a fateful day of September 11, 2001. Many people including children who are innocent ended their lives on that day. And we are almost near to commemorate its 7th Anniversary.

When I was surfing the net, something opened my mind to flashback the attack happened on the Pentagon. I was touched for those pictures, videos and stories about the victims before and after they was attacked and hijacked by the terrorist. I want to share with you the two songs which catched my heart and soul after i heard it. Im sure that after you have read and sung these two songs, you will touched for the message it want to give us. These songs are sung by two most popular singer on our generation. Ms. Kristi Nelson who sung the song entitled, "Mama will hold me" and Ms. Celine Dion who sung the song, "Goodbye's". Both song are used as a music background on a tribute made by those peoples who want to give their sympathy for the family of the victims.

MV Princess of the Stars Tragedy

The MV Princess of Stars Ferry after it was sank last June 22, 2008

June 22, 2008 - a very unfortunate day for those Filipino passengers of MV Princess of the Stars who ended their lives during the typhoon Fengshen also known as "Frank" as it ushered Philippines last June 21.

MV Princess of the Stars is a ferry owned by Filipino Shipping Company Sulpicio Lines that capsized off the coast of San Fernando, Romblon at the height of typhoon Frank.

Sulpicio Lines admitted that about 860 were on board as the ferry capsized, 751 were passengers and 111 were crew members when it was left the port on its way to Cebu City.

Capt. Florencio M. Marimon, Sr.,captain of the MV Princess sent a distress call when the ships's engine stalled in rough seas near Sibuyan Islands. San Fernando mayor Nanette Tansingco sent a speedboat and confirmed that the ferry had a hole in the hull, was partially submerged and that several bodies had been found nearby.

As of June 26, there are 57 lucky souls survived the sinking. According to the latest news, there are 87 more bodies found adrift at sea or washed ashore in the provinces of Camarines Norte, Quezon, and Masbate on Wednesday. While the Philippine Coast Guard and the Philippine Navy are continously finding more bodies and remains of the victims.

Sulpicio Lines said that the family of victims would be given compensation of 200,000.00 regardless of whether the bodies have been recovered or still missing and regardless of whether the bodies have been identified or not up to this time.

Until now, family of those victims who left behind mourn and grieve for what had happen to their love ones. Some are still hoping that even their relatives' remains will be found.

I gave my warmth condolense for those filipino family who left by their loved ones because of the worst maritime disasters in the country’s history. All we can do is to pray for those victims and gave our sympathy to their families.

Urduja VS Dayo

Urduja and Dayo are only those digital full length tagalog animated movie by world-class Filipino animators.

Lets take first the film Urduja which was produced by APT Entertainment,Seventoon and Imaginary Friends Production, directed by Reggie Entienza and was released last June 18, 2008. As a sort of review with this animated film, Urduja is a legendary warrior-princess who is recognized as the heroine in the province of Pangasinan. In the 13th century, Princess Urduja of Central Luzon falls in love with a Chinese pirate named Limhang. Their interracial love story is filled with challenges since Urduja's father Lakanpati, wants her to marry a brave warrior named Simakwel.

This animated film was dubbed by our very own Ms Regine Velasquez for Urduja, Cesar Montano for LimHang, Johny Delgado for Wang, Eddie Garcia for Lakanpati, Jay Manalo for Simakwel and more pinoy star.

Now lets emphasize the other digital and full-length animated feature film entitled "Dayo" which was produced by Cutting Edge Production directed by our very own, Mr. Robert Quilao which will be released on December 2008.

As a sort of review, based on its synopsis,story happened when "Dayo" follows the adventure of 11 year old Bubuy as he tries to save his grandparent who have been abducted to Elementalia, a mysterious and magical land that is home to popular creatures of Philippine Mythology.

Again, our very own artist Nash Aguas for Buboy, Katrina Michelle Legaspi for Anna Mananangal, Michael V. for Narsi and more Filipino artist dubbed the story.

As a Filipino, we have to be proud for those animated and digital film created by our very own and respectable animators and director. We can say that we, Filipino have hidden talents to be showed worldwide. So all we have to do is to support our very own movies for the success of our movie industry.

A Very Good Friend

When I was young, I love collecting poems. Sometimes, I was creating my own poems, stories and sometimes fictions..Its is just my way of enjoying my leisure time. This own built poem was dedicated to a very close friend of mine which she used during her presentation on her high school days.

Friend, a simple word but hard to define,
Some says it is a person whom you can rely,
Some says it is someone who will always be with you,
When sorrow, loneliness, trouble, hardship did came through.

Someone told me she had a friend,
Whom always be with her until the end,
When trials came her way,
Her friend always give a hand day by day.

But life is mysterious all the time,
When destiny calls, no one can deny,
Who will expect of what will happen the next day,
Her beloved friends just passed away.

Now she is alone on the darkest part of the room,
Shedding all her tears nof of joy but of doom,
Until when will her light can shine upon,
If the source of it is in the shadow of dawn.

Whom to trust, to rely, and to lean on,
Whom to share your dreams, goals and thoughts you owe,
Who will care, listen and cry with you,
When this friend of yours is 6 feet under you.

But me, I have a friend,
Yes indeed, a very good friend.

Another person approached me,
And told me about her friend used to be!
In her golden years, this friend of her is nonetheless good,
But a tragedy change the mood.

She told me she is heat by a car,
This friend of her come quickly not so far,
Brought her at the nearest hospital,
And discuss this matter with the official.

Day by day, her body become weak,
Her money in the bank somehow leak,
Not knowing that her friend is a freak,
Whom took her belongings and go with this feet.

Now she is all alone,
Have no money, nor friend, nor home,
Where is the love, the trust and loyalty?,
All the people around felt her pitty.

But me, I have a friend,
Yes, indeed, a very good friend!

Do you want to know my story?
This is something like this...

I have a friend a good friend indeed,
But i have no exact words to describe and give,
All I know is that I owe him all i have,
My family, my friends, even my life.

Whom I give my trust,loyalty, respect and belief,
My faith is on him and no one else,
For no one can care as he do, No one else.

He always give me everything i need,
He always guide me to be able to succeed,
He always reminds me what is right, what is wrong,
And showed me the pattern of life I should live on.

Tears of Rain

I inspired this love story because in some way, this story relates on who am i in terms of LOVE. I honored the name of Mr. Michael Jedd Anjelo Z. Isaac a BSN student of STI- College Lucena who posted this story on our official magazine STIMULI which was issued last february 2008.

A year has already passed, and Ninia still clings to the past memories of her and her ex- boyfriend. Back then, they were happy in each others company. To others, they seemed like a perfect couple, destined to be together for a lifetime,or even longer. They met during Khael's second year in Saint Thomas Institute. Ninia was a transferee, and Khael was the first student who welcomed her.

At first, Ninia thougth he was like the other boys she had met before-full of arrogance and hot air. But she was proven wrong. She saw Khael as a true, humble, caring, respectful, sweet, and honest friend.

As time went by,she slowly began to like Khael more than as a friend, in which she got a little conscious about herself whenever she was with him. The more she spent time with Khael, the deeper her feelings grew.

Nina recalled how Khael never smiled; he seemed like a person whose happiness had been sucked dry. But still his outlook toward life seemed happy and colourful, which somehow attracted her to him.

Then one day, Khael surprised Ninia with a sudden question.

"Ninia, by any chance...can you be my girlfriend?" Khael asked Ninia as he knelt down one knee, holding Ninia's hands. Ninia felt a mixture of excitement and confusion, but she still wholeheartedly said 'YES' to Khael's question. And the rest as they say is history.

Their relationship became the testament of love at its best, they became what other couples stirved to be. As the days passed, Ninia saw a glimpse of Khael's elusive smile; she thought she would never see his smile but now that she saw it, she can't take her eyes away from it. His smile put her into a trance that made her happy.

Everyday, Khael gave something to Ninia. On the first day of their first month anniversary, he gave her a budding flower. On the fifteenth day, he gave her a teddy bear. The day after, he gave her a puppy. This went on for two straight years. But then something happened.

One day, they were talking when Khael suggested that they make a pact. A promise that if ever anything bad happens to any one of them, they would accept it and move on. Khael insisted, so Ninia agreed. As the days passed, Khael's smile which Ninia looked forward to everyday was slowly disappearing. Khael became frequently absent and tardy, irritable and secretive. Khael still never missed to give Ninia a gift everyday, but after giving her the gift, he would suddenly disappear. Ninia sometimes caught Khael talking to other girls, but Ninia let those instances pass. She could see something was bothering Khael, and Khael was not telling her.

There were so many questions in Ninia's mind, and she needed to have answers. She needed to talk to Khael.

While Khael and Ninia were on their way to her house,"Khael, is there something wrong?Do you need someone to talk to?" Ninia asked as she embraced him tightly.

"I don't have a problem...what you think I have a problem?" Khael answered in a harsh tone.

Khael and Ninia saw dark clouds rooming the sky, both thought that it was going to ran, they were right. Khael then stopped his bike, and stepped off, Ninia followed Khael as he walked towards the big mango tree.

"well, I know there is something bothering you, so it's better if we talk about it." She continued.

"You really want to know what my problem is?",Khael asked Ninia.

"Yes, Yes i do, after all i'm still your girlfriend." Ninia said as she hugged his arm.

"i don't..."Khael whispered.

"What?I can't hear you. You were saying something?"Ninia teased Khael.

"I will go to Manila. I will stay there indefinitely".Khael said as he tried to pull his arm away.

"Why?don't you love me anymore?"Ninia asked as she hugged Khael's arm even tighter.

"Yes...I'm sorry,"Khael said as again he tried to pull his arm away.

Confused with the answer Khael gave her, Ninia looked into Khael's eyes. She tried to read them but it frightened her. He was serious. He was living her.

"Ninia, Im sorry, but I think I have outgrown you..."Khael said as he looked into Ninia's eyes.

Besides, i feel that I,....don't like you anymore." He continued.

Ninia stood there like a stone, it was as if he heard a roaring thunderclap, she tried to speak, and as the rain poured hard, her tears flowed down her cheeks.

"Khael, why are you doing this to me?" she asked, as she held his arm tight.

"Ninia, What part of ' I dont like you anymore' didn't you understand?!" Khael shouted. With that, Khael pulled his arms away from Ninia, and rode off on his motorcycle.Ninia tried to catch up with Khael but he sped fast away Ninia's line of sight. Khael left Ninia alone in the rain, crying there.

The very next day, Ninia sped to school to talk Khael, "It is all a big misunderstanding...we can fix this,'Ninia repeated this to herself as she travelled to school. But when she reached Saint Thomas Institute, she was aghast; Khael had already filed his form of absence. He was gone.

It was raining again. It was like that same unfortunate day; the day Khael left Ninia.

Ninia was back there, at the same spot where Khael left her like she was nothing, insignificant, worthless.

The same stretch of pavement, where Khael rode off, where Khael left her to cry in the rain.

It has been exactly a year since that fateful day. But the pain has yet to disappear. She kept everything she wore that day, hidden inside a box and kept it there. But something made her open the box, her intuition told her to look for something.

There she found Khael's cap, the dress and skirt she wore that day, still with stains of muds and twigs. She also found the bag she carried that day, filled with the broken eyeglass and shattered pieces of her ensemble.

Looking further, she felt something was attached to the cap. She prowled through it and found an envelope, with her name was written on it, Inside, she found a diamond ring together with a letter, she began to read the letter and she cried again.

I am a hopeless romantic, I believe in true love, in destiny, in soul mates, and in happy endings. I could say that I'm somewhat an expert in things concerning love, but even though I am a know-it-all, I can honestly say I'm still unlucky, I have been in and out of relationships many times. I've had my fair share of tears and heartbreak. After my seventh attempt in finding my perfect love story, I guess it opened my eyes that: Love and I just don't mix!

But then I met you. When I fist saw you, right then and there, I knew, fate gave me another shot to try to love again. You really showed me that love is indeed magical, that love is a treasure. And I am thankful for having the opportunity to love and care for you.

I guess fate played a cruel joke on me, I did find my happiness with you, but I am losing the battle against my sickness. I am suffering from leukemia. I was too afraid to tell you about my condition, because i didn't want you to be sad, and to worry about me. The doctor said that I only had a year to live, but with you as my inspiration, I strived to live, so that making sure to wake up to see tomorrow, to see your smile.

I figured that it was better for you to move on rather than stay by my side as I fade, so tried to give you reasons to leave me, I can see that you really do love me so much, but I guess I can't forgive myself if I was to blame for your sadness. I want to ask forgiveness, I broke your heart; I did it so that you would be angry with me, forget me, and move on. I really hope I did the right thing. I really did love you with all my heart.

We made a promise that if ever anything bad happens to anyone of us, we would accept it and move on. I hope you keep your promise, because by the time you read this, I might have already lost the battle against leukemia. I just want to make sure that you receive the last present I failed to give you. A diamond ring, I really wished to ask you to marry me, but i guess I will never have the chance.

I hope you could find in your heart to forgive me.

Think Positive?

"Always think positive!",we always heard thast phrase as an advice or sometimes just an expression. Yeah...its 100% right, but how about those negative side,should we ignore it just as its passing by?

We cannot blame ourselves for sometimes being a negative thinker. We are just only human, not perfect and sometimes committed misktakes. Sometimes, unexpected things happened, but no matter how its hard we have to face and to pass this trials. Maybe its God's will or just a test on how strong are we. But an important things is that, we have to surpass this obstacles to comeup with success.

Put in our mind that failure has no space with us. God will not give those trials if he knows we can't passed it.

But you yourselves arethe one who will direct your own way, its just my own understanding about life based on my own experience. Thank you!!!

Have you tackled during your high school days about Mythology?Are you familliar with those characters and their role on the story?Have you heared about Mt. Olympus,nimphs,gods and goddesses?Well,these questions are only few for those queries i want to know when i first met these world of gods and goddesses during my high school days.

In the begining there was only chaos. Then out of the void appeared Erebus, the unknowable place where death dwells, and Night. All else was empty, silent, endless, darkness. Then somehow Love was born bringing a start of order. From Love came Light and Day. Once there was Light and Day, Gaea, the earth appeared.
Then Erebus slept with Night, who gave birth to Ether, the heavenly light, and to Day the earthly light. Then Night alone produced Doom, Fate, Death, Sleep, Dreams, Nemesis, and others that come to man out of darkness.

Meanwhile Gaea alone gave birth to Uranus, the heavens. Uranus became Gaea's mate covering her on all sides. Together they produced the three Cyclopes, the three Hecatoncheires, and twelve Titans.
However, Uranus was a bad father and husband. He hated the Hecatoncheires. He imprisoned them by pushing them into the hidden places of the earth, Gaea's womb. This angered Gaea and she ploted against Uranus. She made a flint sickle and tried to get her children to attack Uranus. All were too afraid except, the youngest Titan, Cronus.

I inspired this story because whenever i read this, it seems like i was also one of those goddesses,haha..This is not my own compose story i've only get it from one of my favorite site.

It is only the beginning of the story between Titans. Further more are those more interesting and enjoyable adventure of different characters in Greek Mythology. You as an internet surfer, help me to search their stories...
